It’s time for an update on our decorating efforts! A while ago, I posted about the Hunt Club Chairs I ordered from Angus and Company. We finally received them a month ago and we are thrilled with them!
The Hunt Club Chairs are so gorgeous and they capture the classic, yet relaxed, feel that we were aiming for. The chairs are also very well made and extremely comfortable (meaning, good for your back).
I also posted about the Ralph Lauren blue seagrass wallpaper we ordered for the main wall in our kitchen. Because the colour palette throughout our house is so neutral, we were hoping that the wallpaper would add an elegant pop of colour – and we were not disappointed! I can’t even imagine this wall not being blue anymore.
Finally, I was so thrilled that my girl Meghan at Elte let me know of an amazing promotion that Elte. The promotion gave us the opportunity to finally indulge in the Ralph Lawyer Sawyer Sofa that I had been drooling over for months. We chose this Landon print because we thought it would add warmth and texture to our space. I am so looking forward for the sofa to arrive and seeing the results!
Despite having accomplished so much already, there is still quite a lot left to do. On Wednesday, we are having our living room, dining room, hallways, guest bedroom and master bedroom painted. I have spent months thinking about paint colours for our home, and we finally settled on six colours. Each are somewhere between creamy white and a greige (beigey gray).
I would really appreciate your input on which colour would work best!! (By the way, our house is old – 103 years old to be exact.)
Sounds like fun! I just indulged at Elte too (gulp!) . . . I love it there.
MMMM… paint colors! I like the farrow or the Benjamin Moore fog mist. Ballet white is nice too. Congrats.
We decided on Ballet White for the LR/DR/hallways and Classic Gray for YOUR bedroom ;). Haha.
Holly-come-olly, we really need to pay a visit. You’ve done so much changes and the chairs are amazing, and look so comfortable. Can we borrow one of them? The pictures of your kitchen walls speaks for itself…..incredible.
Uhhh, hells to the no you can’t borrow one of our chairs!
